Conflict of Interest Policy – IJDMSE

Conflict of Interest Policy – IJDMSE

A conflict of interest (COI) arises when personal, financial, or professional interests compromise or appear to compromise academic integrity and judgment in research. COIs can stem from financial gains, personal affiliations, academic rivalries, or ideological beliefs that may influence research outcomes.

For Authors

Authors must declare any COI when submitting manuscripts.

A COI disclosure statement must accompany all published research.

COIs include financial benefits, affiliations, or personal relationships affecting research.

For Editors & Reviewers

Editors and reviewers must decline involvement if they have recent collaborations, affiliations, or conflicts with authors.

Reviewers must disclose any COI in the confidential section of the review form.

Editorial staff must not use privileged manuscript information for personal gain.

IJDMSE ensures transparency by managing COIs to uphold academic integrity and fairness in publishing.
