Peer Reviw Policy
Peer Review Policy
The International Journal of Development of MathSci Education (IJDMSE) follows a double-blind peer review process, ensuring anonymity between authors and reviewers. The review process includes the following steps:
Submission & Initial Assessment
Authors submit manuscripts via the Online Journal System (OJS). The editorial office checks formatting and journal scope compliance.
Editorial Evaluation
The Chief Editor assesses originality, relevance, and novelty. If unsuitable, the manuscript is rejected without review. Approved manuscripts are assigned to an Associate Editor for desk review.
Desk Review & Author Revisions
The Sub Editor evaluates scope alignment and suggests improvements.
Authors incorporate necessary revisions before expert review.
Reviewer Assignment & Evaluation
Two expert reviewers (national) are invited, with a 2–4 week review window.
Reviewers assess strengths, weaknesses, and recommend acceptance, revision, or rejection.
In case of conflicting reviews, an additional reviewer may be consulted.
Editorial Decision & Revisions
The editorial team finalizes decisions based on reviewers' feedback. Authors receive review comments and must revise accordingly. If revisions are insufficient, further modifications or rejection may follow.
Finalization & Publication
Accepted manuscripts undergo copyediting, layout editing, and proofreading. Authors verify the final version before online publication.
Appeals
Authors may appeal decisions by contacting the Editor-in-Chief, who reviews the case and may seek additional expert opinions.
The Editor-in-Chief’s decision is final.
